Fri, October 22, 2004 - 3:50 AMI think the best way to find locals in your area is to find a tribe focused on your particular area. I live in Oakland and I'm in a few different Oakland, and even a few for West Oakland (my particular part of Oaktown).
It's a bit harder to find people in your area on the interest based tribes, although being in NY might make it as easy as us in the Bay Area. It seems like NY has a pretty big Tribe presence. -
