I don't need to explain my friend's list!!

But, I have so many because I'm a "yes" girl. Pretty much if I have any sort of conversation in a tribe with someone and they ask to be my friend I accept. I mean why the hell not. It's not like I'm handing out my phone number or inviting every tribe "friend" over to my house. Some people take their friends list so darn seriously. The way I look at it is the site is built for networking why not network, dagnabbit! I'm just glad I'm not the only one! Thanks for joining, y'all!

Yay! This is *so* my tribe.

I couldn't sleep (as usual) last night, so I actually *did* explain my list :-)

I broke down my friend list by category and posted it to the friends thread on TribeIdeas. 37 out of 140-whatever are just "I don't know you but you seem cool" people. But see, that used to be like 50 out of 80, and now a bunch of those have moved into offline-friend or at least sometime-part-of-offline-social-group status. And that's great. Not everyone has or will, but dang, why not say yes? You can always *stop* hanging out with someone, online or off. Not even starting seems so pointless to me.

I did pretty much stop inviting other people to be friends a while back, unless I hung out with them in person or I really really like their profile and posts in the tribes. But I'm a yes-girl too. If you have a profile and we've interacted and I don't think you're a jerk, I'll generally say yes.

Sugar - I am glad you are here cuz I started researching these "Earthships" cuz of you - I hope to visit one of them in the next few months - I live in the Ghetto and I think it might be hard to find one close to civilization butt its a great concept.

I live in the ghetto, too. But, I dream of having an Earthship in the country someday! And, even if you lived in an urban area, you could incorporate some of the Earthship ideas (solar panels, using recycled tires as building material, recycling septic waste for use in farming). Where theres a will...

For those of you who have no freakin' idea what were talking about, check it out:

My rule of thumb is that I want to have met a person in real life before I'll add them to my friend list and I've only made one or two exceptions. I want to know that you are a real person, what you look like, that you aren't a fed, etc.

since we both live in the Ghetto maybe we can develop our own version of the Slumlord Earthship where stray bullets are turned into energy and the mystery moisture on the street out front can be considered the river and your pot plant growning in the closet is the rainforrest
